Cultural and natural wonders! The geography of the Ilocos Region (region 1) makes for a unique culture with it’s many great tourists spots. There are a wide variety of beaches to suite any mood, and an equally wide variety of must-try salty native dishes. Vegetarians and Vegans will appreciate the abundance of fresh vegetables, and crunchy corn snacks that are so popular here. The area is also known for it's arts and It’s ancient architectural masterpieces.

A Day In Vigan

No trip to the Ilocos Region would be complete without mentioning the ever popular Hundred Islands National Park in Alaminos, Pangasinan. Although it is about a 5 hour trip from Vigan, if you drove here from the Manila area then it's on your way back!
